1. Forced migration and yuku

   I rather like Yuku, after being forced to migrate along with the one board I participate in.
   
   It's got lots more functionality to it, more like Word or easy blogs.
   
   The social networking portion of it doesn't really interest me. LOL, I know lots of people love getting kudos, I guess for the ego-feed. But I think it's less useful than the email function where if I want to say something to someone I can. I've watched the teens (whom I have regular contact with) collect these types of badges as if their self worth is tied to the number of kudos/friends they have showing on their profile. It can become a personality contest for some. Kind of sad really.
   
   I probably won't use this blog function, I already post to 3 blogs regularly so I have no need to use this one. I will however use the photo uploading function to upload photos that I want to show to the board.
   
   One complaint I have (and this is my issue not a yuku issue) is that the pages load more slowly, I'm assuming bcause of the heavy graphics of each thread. It's just one more reason for me to get a hold of a new computer somehow. And maybe think about going to cable.
